Accelerating Somalia’s transition to the Next-Generation Internet through capacity building, infrastructure, policy, and innovation.

The National IPv6 Centre is Somalia’s flagship institution for coordinating the country’s transition to IPv6 – the next-generation internet protocol. Established in 2024 and hosted by Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology (JUST), the Centre operates under the guidance of the Ministry of Communication & Technology (MOCT) and the National Communications Authority (NCA).
